A lounge area and thick curtains in the room and the comfortable bed. The staff were hard-working and very efficient and the location was incredible!

The hotel is beautifully kept and beautifully designed and in an unbeatable location by the sea. Light and spotless rooms with a private safe, central heating and an iron. Great facilities and exceptionally comfortable beds.
Even though I enjoyed the place, some of the staff were very slow.

The location stunning and lovely by a steady stream of vehicles picking up golfers. Good service from the top-class, amazingly attentive stuff members. Comfy bed, large bathroom and a lounge, thick curtains and a phone in the room.

The location, view, staff, food is ok
It's an old building with its own charm, but it needs a lot of restoration

Beautiful location friendly service in bar and restaurant .
Half the house a large construction site with armor in front of the facade. Also the room offered to us to the courtyard and kitchen ventilation and with armor of the construction site in front of the windows. IErst on request then another room to the sea side.

On arrival the receptionist changed my room from a double to a twin, which was just great as at short notice I had to bring my 11 year old son with me. Brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.
Well, I'm sorry to say my stay was marred somewhat by the failure of the reception staff to carry out my requested early morning call. My son and I missed breakfast as a result, which we had paid for. Now, we all make mistakes, I myself work in the service industry, and the receptionists apology was sincere...I've had that training too..What really annoyed me was that on telling her my son and I had missed breakfast...there was no gesture to compensate, nothing. Personally, had that been one of my customers I would have backed up the apology with a luncheon voucher, or at least something! Sorry, it just left a sour taste in my mouth. I had to buy and alarm clock for the remainder of my stay.

i thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel, although i would say that the attention to detail in the single room was not quite as high as in a double as my friends have stayed before.
as i said, i think there could have been a bit more attention payed to the room. for instance, the toiletries weren't arran aromatics, which i think is normally a very nice feature, and the heating wasn't on.

Fine architecture resembling a Scottish castle casts a grand shadow against the backdrop of the golf course and coastline. The pool and leisure facilities had solid equipment.
The room felt cramped, lacking a dressing table, and the toilet left little space for personal items. Breakfast not up to the 4-star standard-coffee served in plastic flasks with a limited buffet, and the hot food could have used a round or two under a heat lamp. Shower temperature fluctuated wildly, while noise issues from slamming doors made it hard to catch any real sleep. Dining in the restaurant was a gamble. Service could be slow and awkward seating arrangements.

Couples not worth the cash
The views from the dining room were lovely, like really something, overlooking the golf course and all that sea. And the staff at reception were really friendly, going outta their way to help us with info about the hotel!
Wasn't exactly inexpensive, but it was. Tolerable.

The staff were all very accommodating, the room was comfortable and the leisure facilities were welcome. The location is very good and convenient.
The signposting, or rather lack of it, meant it took a little longer to arrive and enjoy the facilities. The breakfast service was a little chaotic, slow and unclear despite friendly staff.
